Start with the concern you can see
Let us know the deck’s approximate age, size, height, material, and any recent changes. Photos taken from a safe location can help explain the issue before the visit. Tell us if the underside is enclosed or difficult to access.

More than a decking replacement quote
New surface boards do not resolve every problem underneath. A repair discussion can include accessible posts, framing, connections, stairs, rails, flashing, and drainage. The written scope should identify what was accessible and what would require further investigation.
Buying or selling a home?
If you need a licensed home inspection for a real estate transaction, engage a Kentucky-licensed home inspector. A contractor repair estimate serves a different purpose. You may bring an existing inspection report to Yellowstone to discuss a separate repair proposal, subject to applicable conflict rules.

Planning a hot tub, roof, or enclosed space?
Tell us about proposed changes before requesting a simple resurfacing estimate. Additional weight or changes to how a structure is used can require professional design and permit review. A visual visit cannot establish a deck’s load capacity.
What determines the quote?
Size, height, structure count, access below, existing damage, required documentation, and proposed repair work affect scope and cost. Consultation and repair-estimate arrangements are confirmed first; specialized inspections and engineering are separate services.
